We used this for going on vacation to the woods in Michigan and my son also goes to forest school outside year round. After a 3 mile hike in an area that was infested with ticks (we could see them on branches) my dog was the only one to have a single tick on her. My family has been using Three Moms tick spray for a year now and never had a tick on us while playing in the woods weekly for hours. Today, we went on a drive through a nature preserve with many elk, deer, and bison (never getting out of the car) and I found a tick already burrowed in on my son’s clavicle after we arrived home. I used the tick tweezers in the TMO tick kit and that tick was burrowed in so deep it wasn’t coming out. On a whim, I decided to spray the tick spray on the tick to see what that would do. I sprayed two times — soaking the tick — waited two minutes as I saw him flailing his body around, and pulled him out so easily. It appeared that the spray irritated him enough, even being deeply burrowed in my son’s skin, that he began to unburrow himself making it easy to remove him. We were resigned to ticks being a way of life with our 2 Australian Shepherds. We tried many different options but were never comfortable with dangerous chemicals. We had the yard sprayed with an organic spray from spring through fall, but it is very expensive! I tried this product and so far, so good. Ticks have been out for a few weeks but we haven’t seen many on the dogs. In previous years we would take anywhere from 10-20 dogs per day (ticks in their fur but not yet having bitten the dogs). So far we have only had up to 4 in one day! We’ll keep using this product as well as using the medicated flea/tick medicine from the vet. We used it on the humans when doing yard work. We have been tick free! The scent is strong but if it works to keep ticks away I can handle the scent.

I am a pool guy and work outside in the grass and brush every day. I bought this product because I wanted something that I could use every day without exposing myself to potentially dangerous chemicals on a daily basis. I have found that since I started using Tickwise consistently and reapplying as directed I have found no ticks on me and have also had much less trouble with mosquitoes and noseeums. Being homeopathic I may have to reapply more than with a chemical based product but it gives me peace of mind knowing that it's completely safe and non-carcinogenic.

Everyone i know seems to be having tick problems everytime they venture outdoors. The smell is fine to me, like Essential oils because that's what it is. Great combination of ingredients, and the concentration of at least 4 of them is high. Smells good. Above all: works. What's more, I did not receive my second purchase because the package was damaged en-route. I received an email from informing me of the problem and informing me I would receive a refund. It's been weeks and weeks and I have yet to receive that refund. BUT 3 Moms went to the trouble of directly mailing me a replacement, along w/a handwritten note of apology, proving that 'business ethics' is not alway an oxymoron. I'm gonna buy more of this stuff.

Bought this for a trip into the Blue Ridge and up to New England knowing the ticks are intense!
